It's been a long time since i looked . . .

i used to check the numbers often
today, at 7:30 a. my time
the world population count is:
7.214,561,445

and the numbers are rolling at such a rapid clip
by the time I've finished typing it's a hundred more.

wow!
what a large family

like a revolving reunion party

Thank You, Madeleine! (Rumi Alert)

“My heart is so small
it's almost invisible.
How can You place
such big sorrows in it?
"Look," He answered,
"your eyes are even smaller,
yet they behold the world.”

Here's a Bit of JOY!!! (video)

'Wherever we set foot, it was Your street.
Whatever corner we turned, it was Your name in the air.
We said, ‘Surely there must be a road leading elsewhere?’
But every road we found, it led to You'

Sunday Afternoon I went to the movies

Watched this yesterday afternoon.
Have you seen it?
What did you think?
At the end actual photographs were displayed
Smithsonian Magazine had a great article
teaching about the effort to protect,
find
and return
Art.
this is the cover
yes, there are other great stories in there, too.
It looked like the cast enjoyed working together.
I am grateful we have stories of Light
to share about this period.

What do/did you think about this movie??

love & love,

from Steven Charleston:

God is in the kitchen, sitting quietly over a cup of coffee. God is on the street corner, waiting for the light to change. God is at the bar, watching the game on tv. God is in the beauty shop, listening to the latest stories. There is no place where we are that God is not. No moment when we cannot turn to find God available. We build our sanctuaries more for ourselves than for our Maker, who calls the whole creation home, and moves with ease among us, as ordinary as sunlight, as close as a whisper, right where you would hope to find the holy, just there beside you.
