It looks like we've always known
We are all in this together
It will take ALL Of Us
to give this adventure
a satisfying conclusion

we could try

"Isolate yourself for a moment every day, preferably in your Sanctum, and send thoughts of love, harmony and health toward humanity as a whole, especially to those who suffer mentally or physically. Ask God to assist them on all planes and to preserve them as much as possible from the ordeals of life." Rose + Croix Code of Life

Or - Walking To . . . .

What about this
"Walking Away"
seems so challenging?

Isn't it just "turning around?"
Moses was busy doing his thing
and saw a burning bush
(could it have been a Call for a Better Possibility?
could it have been his "Mission Should You Choose to Accept It?)

Do you remember a program called "Mission Impossible?"
That's where i got the second phrase.

It's common pop psychology
"Same Behavior, Same Results"

If this is a common mantra of our times
Doesn't it make sense to

Moses might have been walking towards
His new Opportunity
Many of our heroes have changed their own course
and saved humanity
or, at least improved it enough to give us all new Opportunities of Our Own

Could it be
Walking Away

Perhaps It's Walking Towards

just sayin'

love & love,

"Everything's Gonna be Alright Now . . . "

The Lord He is the One Who goes before you;
He will be with you; He will neither fail you, nor forsake you.
Do not fear, and do not be dismayed."
-- Moses

I just liked it so much - I HAD to Post it

On Wednesday Evenings, in between classes - we gather together - the entire school, all the teachers, students, and parents who might be in the building - we sing some really great songs - one of these songs has the lyric "Everything's Gonna be Alright - Everything's Gonna Be Alright Now!"
The kids, might not be familiar with all the words to everything we do
But, they Thunder With Confidence when it comes to this, closing bit
of our shared time together
Maybe they already KNOW

Some Say

The world is kept in place
as long as there are
36 Righteous People
My Friend Rabbi Goodman
teaches about the minimum needed to save us

Some Say - perhaps We've passed a Point of No Return

I only know
I am here to encourage everyone to Sing
 In Our Singing Together
Surely we will find
The Note That Heals the World

Amazing Faith

Not so long ago I took a class
The teacher suggested
Wisdom is passed from Generation to Generation

Some students were concerned
because their belief system informed them
The way they were taught
only for them
was sent to them

Regardless of the "Delivery System"
The only way others could be excluded
is by pretending
some have no access to

I am often confounded by this
it seems a little mad
to pretend
that any one could be set apart/above
When we are all in this together
Either we are All Holy
or No One is Holy

Seems to me
we are all unique expressions
of The One
(whatever That Is)
and we are creating ever unfolding amounts
of everything possible
as we know better, we'll do better

Truth is Truth
Always the Same
so, loving elders
Passed along Truth/Wisdom in their own words
So we could Pass it along to others
using our own
Hope Filled Vocabulary

to Lift, Encourage, Inspire
the lovely ones coming along
The Path

It would have slipped my mind altogether, isn't that a shame?
I saw a mis-dated announcement from the Franciscan Sisters.

It's easy to hear the news, local, international - there is an indication the world has forgotten . . . BUT, we have not, not really.

I'm going to center myself, and listen to the Voice of Peace inside mySelf . . You are invited to Be the Peace You Are . . .
We can do this anytime . . . We Are Our Own News.  yes?

“Though you may travel the world to find the beautiful,
you must have it within you or you will find it not.”

From James Stone Goodman:

Here I am Hineni
An interactive prayer for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur Musaf

Here I am
planted in front of You and in front of my
fellow conspirators in prayer,
to pray for myself
and on behalf of my community,

Some of the people here I know –
I love them.

Some of the people here I don’t know –
I love them too.

Remind me to empty myself
of all that separates me from You
and from everything I love the most –
I am a vessel, an instrument of your will.
Play me like a harp a flute an oud.

Help me to empty myself –
to be a vessel, an instrument.

Help me to empty myself of that combative Detroit
“get out of my face” or I’ll wipe the floor with you attitude
[substitute here your own obstacles
and when you do,
take a moment to name them:
what is it that separates you from God
and all you love the most?]

As for me,
let me love as purely and as wholly as
I want to and as I know I can.

May our prayers
our actions
our lives
be rescued from the externals.

Let all our prayers rise
uninterrupted like doves
straight to heaven,
let us be guided to
the sacred heart of the world,

Let us never lose our yearning for
peace, depth, and beauty,
let us honor our fathers and mothers,
our grandfathers and grandmothers
all our holy ancestors
who rest at the foot of the
Throne of Glory,

With our prayers
our actions
our songs
today and all days,

Let us remember that nothing
Nothing in God’s creation is ever lost.

Bless us,
O God
The One God
The unclaimed God,

Bless us.

Ernest Holmes

Expectancy speeds progress. Therefore, live in a continual state of expectancy. No matter how much good you are experiencing today, expect greater good tomorrow. Expect to meet new friends. Expect to meet new and wonderful experiences. Try this magic of expectancy and you will soon discover a dramatic side to your work which gives full vent to constructive feeling. It makes life a game that is a joy to play. It enables you to enter into the spirit of things and of people. Say: Today, and every day, I expect good. I anticipate meeting new friends. I joyously anticipate contacting new situations which will increase my livingness. My life is an adventure. I know that wonderful things are going to happen to me. I know that everything I do shall turn into good for
myself and for others.

I keep trying to find ideas behind this picture
First i remember i used to make little people out of another style of clothes pin
then i think
how we pin ideas on a line and move them around during class discussion
and how we used to pin clothes out for fresh air - and to dry
oh!!!  How about those few times we leave a store with the security device still attached to our purchase
and we can't easily remove the thing
and have to return to the store for assistance

And, I wonder if that would hurt the earth
the way it would if we clipped our lips together like that

What does this bring to mind for you?

love & love,
from the one in a silly mood.

"The Symphony of Life is the rhythm of God's consciousness surging through you, and it knows no limitations of thought or doctrine. Attune yourself and join the Cosmic Choir. Time will make you a master musician in the Great Orchestra and you will find Health, Happiness, and Cosmic Power flowing into your being as your song flows outwardly into the Infinite Space of Universal Consciousness."

If you see a mother who cannot love her children,
YOU Love The Children.
If you cannot love the children,
Bring Them To Me.

Is this the "Road Less Traveled?"

Do not go where the path may lead,
go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
            -- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Did you read "The Road Less Traveled" by M. Scott Peck?
many of us did - such a long time ago
now as we continue our studies, we learn
Wisdom has been shared from generation to generation
across cultural divides, across gender bias
across every type of boundary humankind has imagined

It's so Satisfying to realize Truth remains the same
we just claim it (a very Good Thing)
and reframe it (important activity)
Best of all
Begin to Live It
and Demonstrate it in our lives.

I started this post - then realized it should be on our Maggid Blog
Oh well, there Must be a reason, hm?

And remind Our Hearts
We do not need to follow the W-I-D-E path
set by mass-thinking

We are encouraged to follow
The Holy
Our Inner Guidance

When we find ourselves "Way Out There"
please send thoughts of Truth back
to share with others

Maybe "Road Signs" change lives
