Days of rain and rosesImage by Steve-h via Flickr
Oh my fur & whiskers!  For weeks now we have been getting my office ready.  It's going to be comfortable.  There's lots to do, and a long tradition to guide me.  I've got assistance from all over the region, and a master teacher supporting me in the background.  So, like many things, as long as i "suit up and show up" the Holy One will take care of the rest.  I still feel a little like "Where's Waldo."  That, of course comes from the balancing act of fulfilling previous commitments and moving into this new adventure.  This is one of those times I've got that inside assurance.

This morning i was singing for a service to say good-bye to a ministerial dream team that had been here, in the church i was originally sent here to serve, for four years.  They have a new post in Vancouver.  The people in Canada are already so excited . . .

My new post begins Tuesday.  I wish my Pops were here.  I've got him in my heart, he helped every step of the way and I'm pretty sure he'd be cheering now.

So, here we go, a maggid is about to pastor a congregation in a colorful, diverse neighborhood . . . super surprising . . and all good.

love & love,

Abraham visited out class

For weeks we have been involved in "Close Text Study"
It's been exciting fun.
This week, Abraham came for a visit
and answered all of our questions.

How wonderful it is
that nobody need wait a single moment
before starting to improve the world.

"if I can't get to the party, I will bring the party to me."
" I am empowered by a sense of responsibility
and a readiness to believe and receive
I transform through creative resourcefulness."

I don't know who writes these, there is an online Tarot service that is always uplifting.
this time just "hit the spot."

Yesterday I heard Rev. Le Remington give a talk about how life changes
and each of us finding
what is ours to do
at each step of our life experience.

This thought,
"Creative Resourcefulness"
My ever changing life circumstances
gel in my thinking
and have started to form
some original ideas
to serve

kinda cool
good way to begin the day.

I hope you are well

Here's a Truth:

The words 'I am...' are potent words;
be careful what you hitch them to.
The thing you're claiming has a way of reaching back and claiming you.

Voices that loud are always meant to bully. Do not be bullied. Acts of bravery don't always take place on battlefields. They can take place in your heart, when you have the courage to honor your character, your intellect, your inclinations, and, yes your soul by listening to its clean, clear voice of direction instead of following the muddied messages of a timid world.

It was confusing at first
the path seems simple

to get to the finish line

My confusion
of course
was the behavior

The Lesson

I'm supposed to have reinforced - is to keep my eye on the road and get where I'm going

Yehuda says all of this
way better
and in so few words.

Most of the time you don’t know where your positive seeds will manifest.
But nonetheless,
keep planting,
and tending to it.
There’s no telling where it will grow.

(sent from Home*)
When i was a kid
He kept me company while i learned to bake bread.
He'd take time to discuss any matter of Faith,
and explore along with me,
anywhere God was spoken.

(sent from Home*)
He searched for me when his heart
said i needed someone to cheer me on

(Sent from Home*)
He should have won major awards in encouragement
in Love ItSelf
people from all over looked to him
for a Word.

 Early many mornings
 we would talk
long distance
right there together.
Both of us with our cup'a joe

Always Will
