Keep your fears to yourself, but share your courage with others.
-- Robert Louis Stevenson
This quote reminds me of a once famous performer. He had a couple of unusual puppets, of a sort. One was a box, when the box was opened you heard a booming voice declaring, "S'all right!" The other was made during the performance. The performer (Senor Wensas, I believe) would hold his hand in an open fist and draw lips around the opening, then add simple eyes. This puppet would bravely adventure through the situations presented during the act, saying in a small, shaky voice, "I yam not afraid."
("It is easy for you, but deeficult for me." "I yam not afraid.")
There were times I was able to try something that seemed too hard - remembering that puppet.
