When you love you should not say
"God is in my heart," but rather,
"I am in the heart of God."
And think not you can direct the course of love,
for Love, if it finds you worthy,
directs your course.
While cleaning this quote found me. It's from Kahlil Gibran, "On Love,"
It was read for a couple on Valentine's Day. Their friends and family all gathered in a Garden House and heard, perhaps for the first time, vows offered to celebrate equality, friendship, strong bonds and support, instead of servitude and ownership - the "old chattel model." I am beginning to believe that Love will, indeed have It's Way. Wasn't it Gandhi who said, "it may seem for a time . . . . but, Love Always Wins" . . ???"
