The link above is a gift from the BBC. Now we can build our own box.
Right now the actual box is full of scotch whiskey, waiting to go to China.
(Takes a lot longer than i thought.)
I'm excited about the box that arrived on my doorstep filled with a craft project for story time.
The children are really little.
It's extra fun finding a project to delight the little people AND their guardians.
The best part is to see them working joyfully together.
So, I have an October Surprise.

There are so many things in this world I don't know, don't understand. This film explains some - (now I'm sorry i know about them . . ) - There is a page sitting in front of me full of notes, but after a while I was simply stunned. Have you seen this already?
I'm certainly glad to know there are good (holy, wise, brave) people in the world. I'm certainly stunned to see how few . . . I am beginning to think the number 36 has Truth in it. Yikers.
This morning before work i finally saw some of the footage and reports from Texas.
It's hard to know what to say, hm? We had a fierce time of it today - and what we saw was just a tiny shadow of what Galveston endured.
Enough goofing off for me. Gotta get some work done here at the desk top - and, get ready to share with my study-buddy this evening . . . (Hurray!)
'bye for now

Oh, my years of canine training for the Blind - look! an Olympic Dog
There were several fun things in the global news this morning. One of them is a project by the BBC called "The Box." They've purchased a cargo container, had it painted bright red with their logo on it and installed a GPS system inside. Today we learned it's loaded with scotch whiskey headed for China (isn't that interesting?) The BBC suggested we could have some fun and learn about the global economy, and probably learn a lot of nifty side stories, too.
I'm hooked . . I'll give it a go and try to follow along.
The reporters were sharing afterwards about homes they've seen built out of these containers.
I remember reading about bookstores made out of old shipping containers. All this said, this suggests a fun project.
