"I keep the telephone of my mind open to peace, harmony, health, love, and abundance. Then, whenever doubt, anxiety, or fear try to call me, they will keep getting a busy signal and soon they'll forget my number."

"Turn to me and be saved,
all the ends of the earth!
For I am God, and there is no other."
--Isaiah 45:22
I was reading a message from Duke.
He reminded us all about the 1906 Earthquake in San Francisco.
His point was that when the plates of the earth move a little at a time, the pressure is relieved and a major explosive action is no longer necessary.
So, thinking about my own life,
If I remember every day to "delete" negative thoughts & feelings
I will diminish the possibility of an upset.
I think about that a little.
I could paint, or write, or walk.
I could think "happy thoughts"
or go to a movie.
I could turn to God.
I could talk and listen to Him
or as the course in Miracles suggests
"The Voice for God."
The "Course" says
"There is nothing to sing but the song of God"
"Nothing to Hear but the Voice of God."
I wrote,
"The Song of God goes on & On Forever and a Day."
All I know is,
God is my Love, Life,
Strength & Song.
All I know is
That's my answer,
my health,
my hope,
my life.
Dr. Chironna said
"There is only One person in the Universe
and I'm not it."
I turn to God
There is no other.

The closed doors

A dog had followed his guardian to school. His guardian

was a fourth grader at a public elementary school.

However, when the bell rang, the dog sidled inside the

building and made it all the way to the child's classroom

before a teacher noticed and shoo'ed him outside,

closing the door behind him.

The dog sat down, whimpered and stared at the closed

doors. Then God appeared beside the dog, patted his

head, and said, "Don't feel bad fella'....

they won't let ME in either."

Sunday Story @ UCC

"So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and succeed in the thing for which I sent it."
--Isaiah 55:11
This was the scripture for Sunday's Lesson.
It reminded me of my studies about Faith
because God knows the end
from the beginning.
If you see out minister -
ask him about the cat story.
It will make you laugh.
"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart."--Deuteronomy 6:5-6

On Fire

My heart is Absolutely on fire. My expectation is red hot (Hope - Red Hot Expectation.)
I have been listening and studying the Things of God and I watch for Signs & Wonders at every turn. Here's something worth repeating, it's from Jesse - well, no it's from God and Jesse reminded me today:

(Eph. 3:20)
"Now unto Him Who is able to do exceeding,
abundantly, above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that worketh in us"
Jesse also reminded us of:
(Psalm 23)
"The Lord is My Shepherd
I shall not want."
Aren't these great reminders?
Do you know about the anniversary,
I mean the 100 year anniversary of Azusa Street?
No, No - it's an actual thing.
Check it out:
Isn't that a Wonder?
Don't you know, even if I can't be "home"
(You Do remember I am from the 'City of the Angels", don't you)
God is here the same with me as there.
Ah, well, I just want you to know
I joined the tiny Exodus from
a place I did not belong.
I am entirely better off for it.
All Is Well.

--Saint Francis of Assisi

Walking in love does not mean giving in to everyone or being wimpy.

Walking in love means just what I Corinthians 13 says it means. It shows patience, care, understanding and all the rest. By walking in love we keep ourselves on the right track regardless of what others are doing.

I still think back a bit and get disturbed . . but, John Wayne (in the movies) would have walked right along keeping the "inner work" in the subtext. - Howdy, Pilgrim.

Faith Buiding Continues

"Faith is higher and more spiritual than belief. It is a chrysalis state of human thought, in which spiritual evidence, contradicting the testimony of material sense, begins to appear, and Truth, the ever-present, is becoming understood."
-From Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy297:20-24
Did I tell you? I've had two teachers in the last couple of years decide to "dis" my Faith. Anyone knowing me would realize I have the Faith of God. Unfortunately for me - the first one proved herself false, although the message she was relaying was "right on the mark." The second teacher has gotten confused - believing himself to be Creator. His teaching was one to run from - I tried to make a difference, it turned out the best statement I could make was self-removal.
Today Kenneth pointed out so many Truths about "Our Faith" that helped shed light on what had happened and - better yet, heal my "battle wounds." Earlier it was strongly suggested if a teacher is "dis-ing" the Word - RUN!!!!! (don't walk.) Now I'm glad I did.
Hey! I liked when Kenneth pointed out that Gloria is the most final person in Faith. (*I would like to be more like that mySelf.) He even shared that once she "came down hard" on him reminding him that it takes the same time for belief or unbelief - so, which shall we choose?
Then for me, the best part was the reminder that we are not like the world. They will not understand us - we might as well just know that and move along with our Life -
I am feeling stronger every day.
How about you?

The Substance

"Thus the Lord used to speak to Moses face to face,
as one speaks to a friend."
--Exodus 33:11
So, since God is the same, yesterday, today and forever -
does He speak to me
"as one speaks to a friend?"
Do I dare consider mySelf in the same category as Moses?
No, I am in my own category -
but, I'm God's own
so, I better have my "listening ears" on
Because, that's one Friend I want to be with.

We are hearing so much about India in the news, I went looking for someone sharing the "real world." This talented person offers a beautiful view - and even offers explanation.
It's lovely, don't you think?

Joyful Noise

I give voice to my joy in prayer,
in song, and in praise to God.

"Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all
the earth;
break forth into joyous song and
sing praises."

From my brother:

Life as I know it.

From Duke:

'Never blame anyone or anything for yoursituation.
And never look excuses for what happens in your life.
It's your life, take responsibility for it
and make it whatever you desire.'
